The Shindig - Ozark Living Expo 2026 is a collection of active resources that bring together today's curation of homestead-style living with the historical practices of an Ozark lifestyle. This is the ultimate gathering of Ozark living enthusiasts.
Check out a few of our great presenters/demonstrators that we have scheduled this year. You'll have the opportunity to learn from the best!

An American Homestead
Zac Bauer
Living off-grid in the Ozarks, Zac has built a lifestyle rooted in self-reliance, traditional skills, and sustainable living. Through his homestead and his popular YouTube channel, An American Homestead, he teaches and advises individuals who are interested in off-grid living, homesteading, and practical self-sufficiency. Zac brings real-world experience, inspiring stories, and valuable insight into what it truly means to live intentionally and independently. His passion for educating others and preserving traditional ways of living makes him a powerful and fitting voice for this year’s Shindig.

The Fuller Homestead
Brian Fuller
Brian raises a variety of animals including pigs, chickens, mini Nubian goats, and rabbits, and also spends time cultivating his garden. Through his YouTube channel, Fuller Homestead, he shares practical knowledge and real-life experience in animal care, sustainable living, and gardening.

Cheese Maker
Sara Avrams
Sara has a passion for transforming fresh, quality ingredients into handcrafted cheeses. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the cheese-making process and the craftsmanship that goes into every batch.
Each year, one of the highlights of the Shindig is the chance for attendees to taste some of Sara’s delicious cheeses, and this year she will also be demonstrating the cheese-making process. It’s a great opportunity to learn how simple ingredients can be turned into something truly special.
Friday and Saturday

We are excited to invite students to a fun and engaging day of hands-on learning where history comes to life. On Friday, Kids Day at the Shindig offers a high-quality experiential learning opportunity for students to explore Ozark heritage, agriculture, and local history through interactive demonstrations, activities, and storytelling.

Saturday will be an exciting day as we watch the cars, trucks, and motorcycles arrive at the Fairgrounds.
