To be the living history museum of Newton County heritage providing a family focused experiential interpretation of historical practices alongside a collection of active resources for today’s curation of homestead-style living.

Newton County Historical Society
The Newton County Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the historical heritage of Newton County, Arkansas. The Society operates the Bradley House Museum (consisting of the Bradley House and the Chaney Log Cabin). It is located at 403 W. Clark Street in Jasper, Arkansas.
The museum is open 10:30-4:30 Monday, Thursday, and Friday mid-March through mid-November, Friday only in December, and closed during January-February. During the summer, the museum is also open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
Admission is free; however, a $3 donation per person is appreciated.
